Very Hot In Spite Of Last Night’s Storms – Mid Michigan

We had storms move through the state early last night dropping 0.68″ in my rain gauge.  Some areas in the southern part of the state got over two inches.  We were briefly under a severe TS warning but it wasn’t that bad.  The first hit between 7-8 PM, then the other one came about 11 PM.  We just caught the edge of the second one and only got 0.09″ from that one.  One would have thought that they would’ve brought some relief from this heat but no deal.  Our temps are back near 90°F once again with no real relief anytime soon.  We are heading back to our campground on Friday and the forecast for up there is calling for a high only in the upper 60s.  But that’s only for one day.  Unfortunately, there is the possibility of rain almost every day.

Our 3 PM temperature is 88°F (31°C), the humidity is 57°F (14°C) and the dew point is 69°F (21°C).  Skies are mostly clear.  The pressure is 29.98 in (1015.2 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles and winds are from the SW at 3-8 mph.  Yesterday’s high was 90°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 69°F (21°C).  Averages for this date are 81°F / 57°F
