More Rain Coming For Mid Michigan

Yesterday was mostly wet with multiple showers and thunderstorms passing us by.  We got one cloud burst in the afternoon, and then a thunder shower during the evening.  We received 0.33 inches of rain from both, but some areas in Oakland County got 3-4 inches.  There was a flash flood warning for them briefly.  At least there were no severe storms  this time.  We still have rain in our forecast for this afternoon and tonight.  We had fog early this morning which left everything outdoors very wet.  There was a little sun but now there are more clouds moving in.  Our temperatures remain about 15-20 degrees above normal.

Our 1 PM temp is 69°F (21°C), the humidity is 82%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the SW at 2-8 mph and the dew point is 66°F (19°C).  The pressure is 29.87 in (1011.5 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 73°F (23°C) and the overnight low was 57°F (14°C).  Average temps for this date are 62°F / 44°F.

Sunday:  Scattered thunderstorms in the morning.  Cloudy in the afternoon.  High 77°F.  Winds SSE at 10-20 mph.  Chance of rain 40%.
