Much Colder With Rain – Mid Michigan

Much Colder With Rain – Mid Michigan

We had a few intermittent showers yesterday with a thunderstorm early this morning.  There was one loud clap of thunder that woke me up and plenty of lightning.  We didn’t get much rain, however, only 0.13″.  Today has been dry with some sun, but rain has moved in over the past hour or so.  Also, the wind is quite brisk making it feel colder than it is.  Most of our maple trees are still holding onto their leaves and we aren’t seeing much color compared to other years.  I don’t know what’s going on this year but it’s a bit disappointing.

Our 4:15 PM temperature is 55°F (13°C), the humidity is 91%, and skies are overcast with light rain.    The dew point is 53°F (12°C) and winds are from the SW at 5-15 mph.  The pressure is 29.68 in (1005.1 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 72°F (22°C) and the overnight low was 54°F (12°C).  Average temps for this date are 57°F / 41°F.  Sunrise was at 7:56 AM and sunset will be at 6:44 PM.
