Mild Temps With Rain On The Way – Mid Michigan

Our Veterans will have a windy, a bit wet, and mild day on this Veterans Day.  I have two in my family and they’re looking forward to taking advantage of the free meals offered to them by many restaurants in the area.  That’s such a nice gesture.  Our morning started out with filtered sun and breezy.  There is a line of showers approaching from the southwest which should be here sometime this afternoon.  I’m going to venture out to do some grocery shopping this afternoon.  This will be my first since the surgery, and I’m thankful for the electric carts that the stores have for people like me.  I’m doing quite well in my walking, but only for short distances.  This will be interesting.

Our 10:30 AM temperature is 57°F (14°C), the humidity is 70%, and skies are mostly cloudy with some hazy sun.  Winds are from the SE at 13-18 mph and the dew point is 47°F (8°C).  The pressure is 19.56 in (1001.0 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 54°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 45°F (7°C).  Average temps for this date are 49°F / 35°F.  Sunrise was at 7:23 AM and sunset will be at 5:17 PM.
