Snow And A Little Warmer – Mid Michigan

Snow And A Little Warmer – Mid Michigan

Temperatures are a little warmer today but winds are still very chilly.  It just started snowing lightly a few minutes ago but radar isn’t showing anything significant heading our way.  It is almost the end of January and we have had no January thaw this year.  I guess Mother Nature figured that our mild November and December was good enough.  There are a couple of days ahead where highs are expected to reach the upper 30s to near 40°F.  Unfortunately it’s only for a couple of days.  Yes, I’m getting tired of the cold and snow, and want to get outdoors without freezing.

Our 4 PM temperature is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 73%, and skies are cloudy with light snow.  Winds are from the WSW at 6-16 mph.  The wind chill is 20°F (-7°C).  The pressure is 29.84 in (1010.5 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 7 miles.  The dew point is 19°F (-7°C).  Yesterday’s high was 19°F (-7°C) and the overnight low was 5°F (-15°C).  Average temps for this date are 26°F / 13°F.  Sunrise was at 7:56 AM and sunset will be at 5:42 PM.
