A Lovely First Day Of Spring – Mid Michigan

After a gloomy, wet, foggy Saturday, today is sunny and temperatures should be very mild.  Total rain amount from yesterday was 0.17″.  The fog finally lifted around sunset and most of the rain was sprinkles to mist and drizzle.  Not a nice day at all.  This upcoming week isn’t looking too bad with highs reaching the upper 40s to low 50s all week.  Any precipitation should come as rain.  My weather guy, Ryan Hall, is predicting this week to be very stormy in the south with conditions possible for a major tornado outbreak early to midweek.  Hopefully, that won’t happen.  Here in Michigan, we aren’t expecting anything severe at this time.

Our 12:45 PM temperature is 52°F (11°C), the humidity is 50%, and the dew point is 32°F (0°C).  Winds are from the WNW at 3-8 mph, and the pressure is 30.04 in (1017.3 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 12 miles and skies are clear.  Sunrise was at 7:40 AM and sunset will be at 7:49 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 42°F (5°C) and the overnight low was 35°F (2°C).  Average temps for this date are 44°F / 28°F.
