A Snowy Day After Easter – Mid Michigan

A Snowy Day After Easter – Mid Michigan

Our Easter Sunday was quite nice.  There was some cloud cover  in the early afternoon, but we had sun most of the day.  Temperatures were a bit chilly but not as bad as today.  It feels more like late March than mid April, and we are expecting up to an inch of snow.  The Detroit area could get as much as 2-3 inches.  Next weekend should see temperatures in the low 70s, so at least that gives us something to look forward to.  It is almost May so I’m hoping that this is winter’s last hurrah.

Our 1 PM temperature is 33°F, the humidity is 94%, and skies are overcast with moderate snow falling.  Winds are from the NE at 2-5 mph and the dew point is 32°F.  The pressure is 29.79 in and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 44°F and the overnight low was 30°F.  Average temps for this date are 57°F / 37°F.  Sunrise was at 6:49 AM and sunset will be at 8:22 PM.
