A Little Rain To Start Our Friday – Mid Michigan

A Little Rain To Start Our Friday – Mid Michigan

We have light rain this morning which is expected to end by the afternoon.  The weekend looks great with sun and mild temperatures.  Then we are told that it will get hot next week, with an extended period of 80 degree weather beginning mid-week.  I don’t think anyone is complaining about that.  In fact, some of us were wondering if it was ever going to happen.  The ground is saturated and the river is very high, so we need some heat and dry weather to bring back some normalcy.  My husband mowed some of the lawn yesterday but much of it was just too wet.   Often, we go from one extreme to the other, so that may be happening.

Our 10:45 AM temperature is 50°F (10°C), the humidity is 73% and winds are from the ENE at 5-13 mph.  Skies are cloudy with light rain.  The dew point is 41°F (5°C) and the pressure is 29.69 in and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  One year ago the high was 61°F (16°C) and the low was 43°F (6°C).  Average temps for this date are 63°F / 43°F.  Sunrise was at 6:23 PM, and sunset will be at 8:42 PM.
