Once again, we have a nice, sunny morning.  Temperatures are rising quickly which will probably usher in some  storms this afternoon.  The Weather Service is telling us to expect some strong storms, possible reaching severe level.  We really could use the rain but not damaging winds or hail.  Our last significant rainfall was on May 4.  With this hot weather that we’ve had the past week, it doesn’t’ take long for everything to dry out.  We used the AC yesterday for the first time as afternoon temperatures reached the upper 80s.  Today should be a little cooler with more clouds.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 82°F (28°C), the humidity is 52%, and winds are from the south at 1-7 mph.  Skies are mostly clear.  The UV index is very high at 8, and the heat index is 86°F (30°C).  The pressure is 29.72 in (1006.4 mb) and steady.  Sunrise was at 6:15 AM and sunset will be at 8:52 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 88°F (31°C), and the overnight low was 60°F (16°C) .  Average temps for this date are 65°F / 45°F.
