A Very Hot Memorial Day For Mid Michigan

A Very Hot Memorial Day For Mid Michigan

Today will be the hottest day that we have had so far this year.  I’m not sure if any records will be broken, but I know that it will be much to hot for me.  I don’t plan on being outdoors much, in spite of it looking gorgeous out there.  My dog, on the other hand, thinks it’s wonderful and has been asking to go out about every half hour.  We have more cooler air descending on us from the northwest, and this caused a lot of turbulent weather in states to our west, especially Minnesota.  The Weather Service is giving us a slight risk of severe weather tonight, but our local forecasters are saying that they don’t expect it because the storms will be arriving well after sunset.  Hopefully, that will be the case.  I hate severe weather after dark.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 83F, the humidity is 58%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the SW at 3-12 mph and the dew point is 65F.  The pressure is 29.92 in and falling.  Sunrise was at 6:01 AM and sunset will be at  9:08 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 86F and the overnight low was 66F.  Average temps for this date are 71F / 51F.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:
