Another Cloudy Day In Mid Michigan

Another Cloudy Day In Mid Michigan

We had a heavy, brief shower yesterday afternoon, which dropped almost half an inch in about 20 minutes.  Today there are more showing up on radar but I don’t think they’ll reach us.  The grass is growing about an inch a day with all this rain, and whenever they predict a dry period for us, it rains anyway.  With gas prices what they are, it’s costing a small fortune just keeping up with the lawn.  We are expecting a hot spell this upcoming week, so maybe that will slow it down a bit.

Our 1:15 PM temperature is 75°F, the humidity is 51%, and the dew point is 56°F.  Winds are from the WSW at 2-7 mph.  The pressure is 29.93 in and falling.  Skies are overcast and visibility is 14 miles.  Sunrise was at 5:57 AM and sunset will be at 9:15 PM.    Yesterday’s high was 74°F and the overnight low was 50°F.  Average temps for this date are 74°F / 54°F.
