A Perfect Summer Day In Mid Michigan

Dad’s couldn’t have had a nicer Father’s Day than what today has been.  We’ve had mostly sunny skies, light winds, and comfortable temperatures.  My oldest son came to spend the day with us and we cooked chicken on the grill.  I made some homemade ice cream for desert, and we sat outdoors most of the day, just enjoying our great weather.  We have another blast of hot air coming for next week, and it seems like it has gone from one extreme to the other most of this year.  The good thing is that there is no rain in our forecast and the grass has already stopped growing so fast.  With gas prices what they are, that’s a good thing.

Our 5:30 PM temperature is 79°F, the humidity is 34%, and winds are from the SW at 2-5 mph.  The pressure is 30.13 in and falling, and the dew point is 42°F.  Visibility is 19 miles  Sunrise was at 5:57 AM, and sunset will be at 9:19 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 73°F and the overnight low was 45°F.  Average temps for this date are 77°F / 57°F.
