Scattered Showers/Thunderstorms Possible Today – Mid Michigan

I’m already seeing some storms popping up on radar so I think we will have a wet weekend ahead.  I haven’t watered my garden for a few days, so I’m hoping that the rain doesn’t all miss us.  My weather station is showing one lightning strike 11 miles away, but radar isn’t showing anything coming our way as yet.  I don’t think we’ll see much sun today but that will help keep the temperatures down.  I’m seeing a few raindrops on the windshield of the truck so we must be on the edge of a shower.

Our 12:15 PM temperature is 78°F, the humidity is 70%, and winds are from the south at 1-7 mph.  Skies are cloudy and the dew point is 63°F.  The pressure is 29.94 in and steady, and visibility is 12 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 83°F and the overnight low was 63°F.  Average temps for this date are 80°F / 57°F.  Sunrise was at 6:47 AM and sunset will be at 8:31 PM.
