Summer May Be Coming To An End – Mid Michigan

Today will be very summer-like, probably one of the few that we have left.  Highs are expected to reach the mid 80s and we should see plenty of sun.  Our last summer holiday is only a week away and I hope that it will be a nice one.  I’ve heard many conflicting weather predictions for fall, including one saying that we have a large mass of cold air coming our way.  But I’ve seen prediction be wrong so many times, so I’ll just stay positive and look for nice, warm, sunny weather for our summer’s end.

Our 1 PM temperature is 77°F, the humidity is 60%, and winds are from the N at 3-4 mph.  The dew point is 63°F and the pressure is 29.97 in and steady.  Visibility is 12 miles and skies are clear.  Yesterday’s high was 80°F and the overnight low was 61°F.  Average temps for this date are 81°F/ 57°F.  Sunrise was at 6:53 AM and sunset will be at 8:27 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm possible.  High 84°F.  Winds W at 5-10 mph.

Tonight:  Some clouds.  A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible.  Low near 60°F.  Winds light and variable.

Thursday:  A mix of sun and clouds, becoming cloudy in the afternoon.  A chance of showers or thunderstorms.  High 81°F.  Winds SSW at 5-10 mph.  Chance of rain 40%.
