A Few Sprinkles But No Real Rain Yet in Mid Michigan

Showers and a few thunderstorms moved across the eastern half of lower Michigan last night, but we didn’t get anything here.  This morning began with a few sprinkles and cloudy skies but no significant rain so far.  Radar is keeping us hopeful that we’ll get a good rainfall yet today.  According to the forecast, it should happen.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 70°F, the humidity is 95%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are calm.  The dew point is 66°F and visibility is 7 miles.  The pressure is 29.87 in and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 85°F and the overnight low was 67°F.  Average temps for this date are 75°F / 52°F.  Sunrise was at 7:13 AM and sunset will be at 7:56 PM.

Tonight:  Rain likely.  Low 59°F.  Winds light and variable.  Chance of rain 80%.  Rain amounts near quarter of an inch.

Monday:  A few showers early, then mostly cloudy.  High 66°F.  Winds SW at 5-10 mph.  Chance of rain 40%.
