Today, A Repeat Of Yesterday – Mid Michigan

At least, it isn’t raining today and we could see a little clearing later on.  Other than that, there isn’t much of a change from what we had yesterday.  Temperature are much below normal, and we continue to have brisk winds which make it feel even colder.  We received close to half an inch of rain yesterday and last night, and I think it is done for the day.  Some places in northern Michigan have well over a foot of snow, and I’m not excited about that happening to us anytime soon.  I’m hearing forecasts, however, that this is going to be a very snowy winter for us.

Our 1:15 pm temperature is 41°F, the humidity is 76%, and winds are from the west at 16 -24 mph.  Skies are overcast and the dew point is 34°F.  The pressure is 29.82 in and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 44°F and the overnight low was 39°F.  Average temps for this date are 59°F / 39°F.  Sunrise was at 7:55 AM and sunset will be at 6:49 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Overcast with a chance of a rain or wet snow shower.  High 44°F.  Winds WNW at 10-20 mph.

Tonight:  Cloudy.  Low near 35°F.  Winds WNW at 10-15 mph.

Thursday:  Cloudy.  A rain or wet snow shower possible.  High 51°F.  Winds WSW at 10-15 mph.  Chance of precipitation 24%.
