A Beautiful Day Following The Storm – Mid Michigan

A Beautiful Day Following The Storm – Mid Michigan

Our skies cleared yesterday and we lost most of our snow.  This morning was frosty but temperatures are expected to rise into the mid 40s this afternoon.  This will continue through Thanksgiving day, but then rain is expected by Thursday night and the following 3 days.  At least the temps won’t be so cold.  This is much too early for this kind of weather although it isn’t unprecedented.  Regardless, this shouldn’t be happening in my opinion.  I really shouldn’t complain because we didn’t get nearly what the west side of the state got. I just hope that this isn’t a sample of what’s to come.

Our 2 PM temperature is 45°F, the humidity is 56%, and skies are mostly clear.  The dew point is 28°F and the pressure is 29.91 in and falling.  Visibility is 12 miles.  Winds are from the west at 5-9 mph.  Sunrise was at 7:37 AM and sunset will be at 5:08 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 26°F and the overnight low was 19°F.  Average temps for this date are 44°F / 29°F.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Partly cloudy.  High near 45°F.  Winds SE at 10-15 mph.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy.  Low 22°F.  Winds light and variable.

Wednesday:  Some clouds otherwise mostly sunny.  High 46°F.  Winds light and variable.
