Quite Nice Here In Mid Michigan

Our morning began with mostly cloudy skies, but since then, it has cleared up nicely although it is quite cold.  The wind has diminished so it isn’t too bad outdoors at all.  There is another cold front coming our way for the weekend, and winds will be ramping up to around 40 mph once again.  I’m hoping that this will be the last of the blustery weather.  Today is the first day of meteorological winter, which is what I go by.  If it’s Dec. 1, then it’s winter as far as I’m concerned.  We had a few snow showers yesterday, but it wasn’t enough to accumulate or measure.  It’s hard getting use to it being dark so early.  It seems like it should be 10 PM when it’s only 8 PM.  But many are getting their Christmas lights up so that brightens it up quite a bit.

Our 4:45 PM temperature is 33°F, the humidity is 59%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the WSW at 2-8 mph and visibility is 11 miles.  The pressure is 30.23 in and falling.  Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 51°F and the overnight low was 24°F.  Average temps for this date are 38°F / 26°F.
