Unseasonably Warm In Mid Michigan

The warm temperatures of the past two days have taken care of most of the snow.  The only snow remaining is where the snow banks and deep drifts were.  It was 53°F when I got up this morning and has pretty much remained that warm since then.  We haven’t had any rain yet but it is expected this afternoon.  The temperatures will then start to fall, but remaining much above average.  This weather is wonderful but unseasonable temperatures often bring severe storms behind it.  Some weather gurus are predicting exactly that at the beginning of next week.  Guess we’ll just enjoy what we now have and hope for the best.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 54°F, the humidity is 93%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the southwest at 8-16 mph, and the pressure is 29.86 in and steady.  The dew point is 53°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 51°F and the overnight low was 49F.  Average temps for this date are 31°F / 19°F.  The record high is 61°F and the record low is -11°F.  Sunrise was at 8:08 AM and sunset will be at 5:11 PM.
