Four Inches of New Snow For Mid Michigan

Four Inches of New Snow For Mid Michigan

Everything was white this morning.  We received a good amount of wet snow that is sticking to everything today.  Temps are hovering right around freezing, so there is some melting happening.  My husband cleared off the deck and now it is almost clear of snow.  We just went shopping and all the main roads are clear and wet.  The snow lasted all day yesterday, but it ranged from light to moderate, so it wasn’t too difficult to travel.  There are no warm days ahead so it looks like the snow will last a while.

Our 3 PM temperature is 35°F, the humidity is 89%, and skies are cloudy.  We have had a few snowflakes this morning but not enough to add to our snow total.  Winds are from the west at 1-4 mph, and the dew point is 28°F.  The pressure is 29.80 in and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 33°F and the overnight low was 27°F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F / 15°F.  Record temps for Jan. 25 are 63°F / -16°F.
