A Beautiful Sunday In Mid Michigan

A Beautiful Sunday In Mid Michigan

Our temperatures made it into the low 40s and it feels a bit balmy today.  We haven’t had any clouds and winds have been light.  For a day in late February, it’s been very nice.  Our ground is still white, but it isn’t snow . . . . . it’s ice, and not melting very fast.   I estimate that it measures about 1-2 inches but am unable to get a accurate measurement.  I’ll be glad when it warms up enough to get rid of it and hope that we don’t get anymore.

Our 4:30 PM temperature is 41°F (5°C), the humidity is 41%, and winds are from the west at 4-11 mph, and skies are clear.  The wind chill is 33°F (1°C).  Visibility is 12 miles and the pressure is 29.90 in (1012.5 mb) and steady.  The high yesterday was 34°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).  Average temps for this date are 36°F / 20°F.  Record temps for Feb. 25 are 59°F / -17°F.  Sunrise was at 7:19 AM and sunset will be at 6:22 PM.
