A Bit Chilly In Mid Michigan

A Bit Chilly In Mid Michigan

Our day started out sunny but now the sky has become overcast.  The temperature isn’t too cold but still below average for this date.  I’m hearing that we have a few days coming where the highs could reach near 80 degrees again, but it won’t last long.  Then we have to deal with another cold front.  Will this ever end?  Our temps should be near 60°F by now and these cold spells are threatening our fruit crop.  Yesterday’s snow showers didn’t leave any accumulation which makes us happy but we really don’t want to see anymore snow this late in the season.

Our 4 PM temperature is 55°F (13°C), the humidity is 50%, and winds are from the ESE at 2-5 mph.  The dew point is 31°F (-1°C) and the pressure is 29.92 in (1013.2 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 15 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 48°F  (9°C) and our overnight low was 26°F (-3°C).  Average temps for this date are 59°F/37°F.  Sunrise was at 6:49 AM and sunset will be at 8:23 PM.
