Another Nice Day In Mid Michigan

Another Nice Day In Mid Michigan

We are expecting dry weather for the next week or so, but with it comes the heat.  There will be a dome of hot air over most of the central US and it is expected to last a while.  What’s unusual is a hurricane heading for the coast of California from Mexico.  Although it isn’t expected to remain a hurricane by the time it reaches Cali, it will bring a massive amount of rain which will add to their previous flood problems.  On the positive side, it will help refill the reservoirs which were affected for so long by the droughts.  Another anomaly is the ocean temperature in Florida.  Summer temperatures are usually in the 70s, and this year the water temp is in the  90s.  It isn’t good to be anywhere in the south this summer.

Our 2 PM temperature is 74°F (23°C), the humidity is 48%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the south at 3-9 mph, and the dew point is 49°F (9°C).  The pressure is 30.08 in (1018.6 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 74°F (23°C) and the overnight low was 47°F (8°C).  Average temps for this date are 80°F/58°F.  The Air Quality Index is moderate at 67, and the UV Index is high at 7.  Visibility is 15 miles.  Sunrise was at 6:47 AM and sunset will be at 8:35 PM.
