Another Gloomy Day – Mid Michigan

Another Gloomy Day – Mid Michigan

I doesn’t look like we will get much, if any sun today.  At least no rain is in our forecast, and tomorrow is supposed to be mostly sunny.  We did get some rain late yesterday and overnight, but only 0.15″ was in my gauge.  Our fall colors have been ruined by all this rain and we are mainly seeing dull yellow and brown.  The  hardwood trees are still mostly green, so I’m still hopeful that they will give us more color.  My burning bushes are still green, but they don’t get much sun where they are planted, so they are usually late.  My body is getting set for standard time.  I’ve been having a hard time getting up in the morning.  Good thing I have the dog.  She makes sure that I get up.

Our 2 PM temperature is 51°F (11°C), the humidity is 83%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the N at 1-6 mph and the dew point is 43°F (6°C).  The pressure is 29.87 in (1011.5 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 56°F (13°F) and the overnight low was 44°F (7°C).  Average temps for this date are 60°F/40°F.  Sunrise was at 7:52 AM and sunset will be at 6:54 PM.
