A Cold And Rainy Morning . . . . . .

There was  0.50″ of rain in my gauge at 9:30 this morning, and moderate rain has continued since then.  This is expected to last most of the day, and a large mass of precipitation is showing on radar.  I’m glad that my husband got the law mowed over the weekend.  Usually by now the grass is dormant, but not this year.  Originally this was supposed to be snow but even the northern areas of the state are getting rain.  That will be good for those traveling for the holiday.

Our 10:30 AM temperature is 40°F (4°C), the humidity is 97%, and winds are from the east at 3-7 mph.  The dew point is 39°F (4°C) and visibility is 3 miles.  The wind chill is 37°F (3°C) and the pressure is 29.67 in (1004.7 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 41°F (5°C) and the overnight low was 34°F (1°C).  Average temps for this date are 44°F/29°F.  Sunrise was at 7:37 AM and sunset will be at 6:49 PM.
