The Snow Finally Arrived . . . . .

The Snow Finally Arrived . . . . .

The snow began right around noon, and has continued moderately since then.  Most has melted on contact, but some is beginning to stay.  I’d say that we have about half an inch so far.  It is wet and sticking to all the branches of bushes and trees.  It’s actually very pretty.  Our expected snow total is about one inch, but radar is showing quite a bit more still coming, so I’m thinking that we may get a little bit more than that.

Our 2:30 PM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 97%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the NW at 0-3 mph, and visibility is only 1 mile.  The dew point is 31°F (-1°C) and the pressure is 29.55 in (1000.7 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°C), and the overnight low was 22°F (-6°C).  Average temps for this date are 42°F/27°F.  Sunrise was at 7:43 AM and sunset will be at 5:07 PM.
