Our Coldest Day So Far . . . .

Our Coldest Day So Far . . . .

It feels downright frigid out there today.  Our high barely made it to the freezing mark, and the wind was brutal.  We are supposed to have milder temperatures closer to the holiday, and that’s fine with me.  A white Christmas doesn’t seem to be in the cards this year.

Our 4:45 PM temperature is 32°F (0°C), the humidity is 63%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the west at 8-16 mph, gusting to 25 mph.  The wind chill is 26°F (-3°C).  The dew point is 20°F (-7°C) and the pressure is 30.27 in (1025.1 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 14 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 34°F (1C) and the overnight low was 27°F (-3°C).  Average temps for this date are 35°F/23°F, the record high for Dec 12 is 56°F (2015), and the record low is 4°F (2013).  Sunrise was at 7:55 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
