Another Yucky Day For New Years . . . . . .

2023 is ending on a gloomy, wet note, and the sun only showed itself for about 5 minutes yesterday.  So much for our partly sunny Saturday.  Today will be wet with snow in the forecast.  We did have a very light covering early and it melted soon after I got up this morning.  There was only 0.03″ of melted precip in my gauge with fine mist.  For those who plan to go partying later, I don’t think that the roads will be too bad

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 36°F (2°C), the humidity is 97%, and skies are overcast with mist and light fog.  Winds are from the south at 1-3 mph.  The dew point is 34F (1°C) and the pressure is 29.69 in (1005.4 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 38°F 3°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Average temps for this date are 31°F/19°F.  The record high for Dec. 31 is 70°F (1875), and the record low is -15°F (1976).  Sunrise was at 8:09 AM and sunset will be at 5:12 PM.
