Slightly Warmer . . . . . .

Slightly Warmer . . . . . .

We have a welcome warmup coming this week.  We should see temps into the 40s by next weekend, and hopefully, get rid of this ice.  We have about 3 inches of snowpack, and that’s on top of about 1 inch of ice, so exact measurements are hard to get.  Looking at the extended prediction for February, it appears that February should be on the mild side.  At least we can hope . . . .

Our 10:30 AM temperature is 21°F, the humidity is 88%, and skies are cloudy with snow flurries.  Winds are from the SW at 9-13 mph, and the pressure is 30.42 in and steady.  The dew point is 17°F and visibility is 6 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 22°F and the overnight low was 10°F.  Average temps for this date are 29°F/15°F.  The record high for Jan 20 is 62°F set in 1906, and the record low is -16°F set in 1888.  Sunrise was at 8:03 AM, and sunset will be at 5:34 PM.
