Cooler Temps But Still Smokey . . . .

Cooler Temps But Still Smokey . . . .

We had a brief, heavy rainstorm yesterday afternoon that dropped 0.39″ in my gauge.  It also brought cooler temperatures and less smoke for awhile.  We are still  under an air quality alert but smoke is not nearly as noticeable as it has been.  These cooler temps are a relief after what we have had and I hope they last a while.

Our 1:15 PM temperature is 74°F, the humidity is 45% and the pressure is 30.22 in and steady.  The dew point is 52°F and visibility is 6 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 90°F and the overnight low was 63°F.  Record temps for July 18 are 97°F (2013) and 50°F (2013).  Sunrise was at 6:15 AM and sunset will be at 9:11 PM.
