A Wet Day In Store For Most of Michigan

Today is beginning with very mild temperatures and mostly cloudy skies.  There is heavy rain showing on radar but it hasn’t reached us as yet.  Many areas of the state are under flood watches and warnings in anticipation of what is coming, and some areas have already received an inch of rain.  The showers are training from the south and slowly moving to the east.  My area is expecting up to 2 inches of rain by the time it is finished on Wednesday.

Right now (8:30 AM EDT), our temp is 60.6°F (16°C), the humidity is 48%, and skies are partly to mostly cloudy.  The dew point is 49°F (9°C), and winds are from the SSE at 6 mph.  The pressure is 29.87 in (1011.2 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles  Yesterday’s high was 77°F (25°C), and the overnight low was 59°F (16°C).  Averages for this date are 58°F / 38°F.
