A Rainy Monday For Mid Michigan
Today will not be good for outdoor activities with rain in the forecast for much of it. The radar isn’t showing any heavy precip, but just enough to dampen our day. Highs will only reach the low 70s, so once again, an unseasonably cool day for us.
I’ve been watching coverage of the storm in Texas and it is unbelievable. They are expecting up to 5 feet of rain by the rime it is over, and that amount of rain is incomprehensible. Where will it all go? How long will it take to recede? FEMA is claiming that they expect to be in Texas for the next two years helping with the cleanup. I haven’t heard of any projections as to which way this storm will go in the next week, and I have concerns about what havoc it will wreak in other areas of the country as this drama continues to play out. The victims certainly have my prayers.
