Springlike Weather This Week For Mid Michigan

Springlike Weather This Week For Mid Michigan

We have about 4.5 inches of snow cover as of this morning.  Where we cleared the snow, it is down to bare ground.  We have very warm temperatures in the forecast for mid week and that should rid us of the rest.  I’ve had enough of snow for this season and especially slippery roads.  At least when we get snow this late in the season, we know that it will be short-lived.  This morning is cloudy and there is a chance for the mixed precipitation later in the day, but nothing that should affect driving conditions.

Our 9:30 AM temp is 28°F (-2°C),  the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the  SSW at 9 mph.  The wind chill is 17°F (-8°C).  Visibility is 10 miles and skies are cloudy.  The pressure is 30.14 in (1020.4 mb) and steady.  Sunrise was at 7:30 AM and sunset will be at 6:10 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 33°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 15°F (-9°C).  Averages for this date are 30°F / 16°F.  The record high for Feb 16 is 60°F set in 1954, and the record low is -14°F set in 1904.
