Yesterday began with a little sun and very mild temperatures.  Then the rains came around mid afternoon, becoming very heavy by nightfall.  I don’t have a rain gauge here but I know that what we received had to be well over an inch.  Looking at the CocoRahs reports from near by stations, they are reporting anywhere from 1.35″ to 1.5″.  The rain has moved off now but winds have picked up and it is not a nice morning.  Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny again but temperatures will be very chilly with more rain moving in for Wednesday.  We were supposed to be here until Wednesday but will probably leave tomorrow.
