Continued Hot and Humid With Rain – Mid Michigan
Yesterday was quite uncomfortable even though the temps were a little cooler. Today will see higher temperatures and possible storms. We did get a brief shower around 9:30 this morning but it only dropped 0.03″ in my gauge. There were heavier storms to our north and there are some pretty dramatic pictures of shelf clouds taken in various areas. The picture that I’m using for my feature image was taken this morning near Birch Run. I didn’t see one here when I was out and about but the clouds were already breaking up a bit. We now have partly cloudy skies and rising temps, but more storms are in the forecast for us.
Our 1:30 PM temperature is 86°F (30°C), the humidity is 64%, and winds are from the SSW at 5 mph. The dew point is 68°F (20°C). The pressure is 29.86 in and falling. The UV index is very high at 9. Yesterday’s high was 83°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 59°F (15°C). Averages for this date are 82°F / 59°F. Sunrise was at 6:02 AM and sunset will be at 9:20 PM.
