A Bit Warmer In Mid Michigan
I got out this morning and measured our actual snow pack and it is now 7.3 inches. That’s down 3.2 inches from right after the storm last Wednesday. I don’t think that there was much melting but more settling than anything. I noticed some thawing yesterday but not much. We did briefly get over the freezing mark earlier but it didn’t last long. We should see much warmer temps over the next three days before the next Alberta clipper arrives this weekend.
Our 2:45 PM temperature is 29F (-2C), the humidity is 88% and skies are overcast. Winds are from the NNW at 4-14 mph, and the wind chill is 23F (-5C). The pressure is 29.79 in (1008.8 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 33F (1C) and the overnight low was 17F (-8C). Average temps for this date are 28F / 15F. Sunrise was at 7:44 AM and sunset will be at 5:57 PM.
