Warmer With Filtered Sun – Mid Michigan

It actually feels balmy out there today.  Even the wind doesn’t seem that cold.  I’m hoping that these Alberta clippers are finished for the year but I’m probably asking too much.  We have mostly clouds but I’m seeing a little sun trying to make an appearance.  I’m noticing that the temperature is rising quite quickly and my weather station is now reading 33°F (1°C) at 2:00 pm. This week is expected to be considerably warmer than the past two, so maybe we can get rid of some of this snow cover.  We continue to have about 9″ on the ground.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 33°F (-1°C), the humidity is 63%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the SSE at 3-14 mph and the wind chill is 25°F (-4°C).  The pressure is 29.88 in (1011.9 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 18°F (-8°C).  Yesterday’s high was 22°F (-6°C) and the overnight low was 13°F (-11°C).  Average temps for this date are 28°F / 15°F.
