The only bright thing about today is my lovely yellow maple tree. It always hangs onto it’s leaves longer than most others, and gives us something brilliant about an otherwise gloomy day. We received a little over an inch of rain yesterday and last night. The rain is continuing this morning but it is not expected to last all day. At least that’s what the forecast says. After a cold and damp Saturday, our Sunday is shaping up quite nicely. We only got a few drops of rain yesterday as most of the showers passed to our south and west. It was cloudy all day however.
