Temperatures fell into the low 30s overnight, and everything was covered in frost this morning. I moved my hanging plants close to the house and they seem to have survived. It’s as if Mother Nature decided that now that summer is officially over, we should be getting fall weather. No more warm temperatures for us! Yesterday brought thunderstorms which lasted from 5 PM to near 10 PM. There was one after another with a lot of lightning, some striking very close to us. Heavy rainfall left 1.35″ in my gauge this morning. This morning, we had another line of storms develop, following the same path as last night, but they fell apart before reaching us.
