Continued Unseasonable Cold In Mid Michigan

This cold spell continues and is expected to remain up until next weekend.  I’m hearing that there is a winter storm warning up for our UP with 18 inches of snow possible.  I’m not quite ready to hear that yet, and hope it stays up there for at least another month.  As for us, we could see our first snow flurries of the season this week,  but no accumulations are expected. . . .  at least not at this time, but we know how that can change.  This morning was sunny, then clouds moved in.  Then it was sunny again, and now more clouds.  Yesterday was quite blustery but the winds have calmed down considerably.  I think that we could get a little rain tonight.

Our 2:30 pm temperature us 55°F, the humidity is 58%, and winds are from the west at 3-9 mph.  The pressure is 29.80″ and falling.  Visibility is 15 miles and skies are cloudy.  The radar is clear.  Yesterday’s high was 57°F and the overnight low was 40°F.  Average temps for this date are 60°F/40°F  .Sunrise was at 7:52 am and sunset will be at 6:54 pm.
