Today, although still on the chilly side, is a big improvement from the past two days.  At least our high should be in the upper 60s, and with the sun, that will feel comfortable.  We received about half an inch of badly needed rain over the past few days, something that we really needed.  At least with the cool temps, the ground won’t dry out so fast.  Today is just a nice autumn day, even though it really isn’t autumn yet.  It does seem like it however.

I’m following some of my Facebook friends in Florida, and am happy that most have decided to evacuate.  I just hope that those still on the road will be able to find gas to get them out of harm’s way.  Since Irma took a turn to the west, and is now threatening the gulf side of the state, I think many, who decided to stay, will regret it.  Prayers for all of them.  I think that many snowbirds will be having to put up with our winter this year.

Our 1 PM temp is 66.9°F (18°C), the humidity is 53%, and winds are from the ESE at 5 mph.  The pressure is 30.49 in (1032.2) mb and rising.  Skies are partly cloudy and visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 44°F (6°C).  Yesterday’s high was 64°F (18°C) and the overnight low was 35°F (2°C).
