A Little Sunshine For Our Monday – Mid Michigan

A Little Sunshine For Our Monday – Mid Michigan

It seems so good to see the sun once again, but it sure isn’t doing much to warm it up.  Maybe I’m expecting too much for this time of year, but September really spoiled us.  It’s going to be interesting as to how our winter will be.  If this cycle continues, we should have below normal temps one month, then above normal temps the next.  NOAA is still predicting a very snowy winter for us and I guess we are overdue considering what our last two have been like.

Our 2:30 AM temperature is 45°F (7°C), the humidity is 51%, and skies are partly cloudy.  The dew point is 27°F (-3°C) and the wind chill is 42°F (6°C).  The pressure is 31.21 in and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 68°F (20°C), and the overnight low was 39°F (4°C).  Averages for this date are 52°F / 34°F.  The record high for Nov. 5 is 75°F (24°C) set in 1978, and the record low is 12°F (-11°C) set in 1951.
