A Beautiful Day on Tap For Mid Michigan

Yesterday was gorgeous but very chilly.  I don’t mind the cold as long as the sun shines.  Today will be much the same  We had a heavy frost this morning and I don’t expect my remaining flowers to have survived.  I’m seeing reports on Facebook that the northern lights were visible in the Midland area last night.  I didn’t venture outdoors so don’t know if we could see them here.

Our 8:15 AM temp is 26.2°F (-3°C), the humidity is 83% and the dew point is 23°F (-5°C).  Skies are clear and visibility is 5 miles.  Winds are calm.  Yesterday’s high was 46°F (8°C), and the overnight low was 24°F (-4°C).  Averages for this date are 51° (11°C) / 34°F (1°C).
