Our Dry Spring Continues in Mid Michigan

This has been a very dry month for us and burn bans have now been issued.  We haven’t had any rain since the first week of March, and none is expected until possibly Tuesday.  I’m in the mood for a good thunderstorm to green things up a bit.  The lawn is brown and dead-looking and it’s time for nature to start waking up.

Our 9:15 AM temp is 26°F (-3°C), the humidity is 68%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the ENE at 6 mph and the dew point is 21°F (-6°C).  The wind chill is 19°F (-7°C).  The pressure is 30.34 in (1027.1 mb) and steady.   Yesterday’s high was 40°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 18°F (-8°C).   Averages for this date are 46°F / 29°F.
