A Sunny Palm Sunday for Mid Michigan

A Sunny Palm Sunday for Mid Michigan

Looking out my window, I see a beautiful day with plenty of sun.  Unfortunately, we continue to have a strong wind blowing from the east and it is cold!    Things are supposed to improve next week with highs in the 50s finally.  There is also rain expected but that’s okay.  We really do need some rain.  Although the snow is finally gone, our lawns are brown and dead looking.  It’s hard to believe that next week is Easter already and March is ending.

Our 11 AM temp is 29°F (-2°C),  the humidity is 47%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the east at 12 mph giving us a wind chill of 19°F (-7°C).  The pressure is 30.46 in (1031.2 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 39F (4°C) and the overnight low was 20°F (-7°C).    Averages for this date are 46°F / 30°F.
