Not A Bad Good Friday Morning in Mid Michigan

Mother Nature is giving us the promise of sunshine today although temperatures will be cool.  That’s better than what we are expecting next week.  Highs are predicted to only be in the 30s all week long and snow is in the forecast once again.  The rain that we received over the past three days has greened  the grass up a little but not enough to start it growing.  We need a good thunderstorm but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 31.5°F (0°C), the humidity is 61% and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the north at 7 mph giving us a wind chill of 23°F (-5°C).  The pressure is 30.14 in (1020.4 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Sunrise was at 7:21 AM and sunset will be at 8:00 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 45°F (7°C) and the overnight low was 29°F (-2°C).  Averages for this date are 37°C / 31°F.
