What a nasty morning!  The freezing rain hasn’t started yet but is on the way.  A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until tomorrow afternoon and the warning area keeps spreading southward.  I have to go to work later and am not concerned about the drive in but getting home tonight is a concern.  We have moderate to heavy rain falling at this time and there was 0.38 in in my guage at 8:15 AM.  In the past half hour, we have picked up another 0.10 in.  The biggest concern today will be the wind.  Power outages are expected as well as icy roads and they are warning everyone to stay home unless they must be out.  I work at a hospital so feel that I really need to be there.
