Hopefully, The Finale of Winter Has Arrived – Mid Michigan

Our forecast is calling for much warmer and sunny weather for the weekend.  That is certainly good news after what we have had.  Yesterday was cold and windy with sporadic rain and snow showers.  Today the sun is trying to make a showing between the clouds but don’t know how long that will last.  Once again we have strong winds and highs aren’t expected to rise out of the 30s.  But that will chance starting tomorrow.  We still have a layer of ice on the ground with a little snow mixed in, but not enough to really measure.  That should be gone tomorrow.

Our 10 AM temp is 30°F (-1°C), the humidity is 67%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 16 mph and the wind chill is 19°F (-7°C).   The dew point is 21°F (-6°C) and the pressure is 29.72 in (1006.1 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).  Average temps for this date are 57°F / 37°C.  Sunrise was at 6:51 AM and sunset will be at 8:20 PM.
