A Wet, Gloomy Tuesday Morning For Mid Michigan

There was quite a display of lightning late last night as storms approached our area.  The rain began around midnight and continued most of the overnight.  There was 0.55 inches in my gauge at 8:30 AM and it is still sprinkling a bit.  This morning is very warm and humid.  Hopefully, we’ll see a little sun this afternoon.

Our 8:45 AM temp is 61.5°F (17°C), the humidity is 93% and skies are overcast with sprinkles.  Winds are from the north at 5 mph and the pressure is 29.85 in (1010.5 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 61°F (16°C).  Visibility is 5 miles.  Sunrise was at 6:13 AM and sunset will be at 8:52 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 78°F (26°C) and the overnight low was 62°F (17°C).  Averages for this date are 65°F / 45°F.
