A Little Cooler For Mid Michigan

After a very warm Tuesday and Wednesday, today will have temps closer to normal.  We had highs of 80° the past two days but with the low humidity, it was quite comfortable.   Winds will swing back to the north today bringing cooler temperatures but still in the low 70s.  This weather is glorious and we have waited a long time for it.

Our 10 AM temperature is 68°F (20°C), the humidity is 61% and skies are clear.  Winds are from the NNE at 8 mph and the pressure is 1018.0 mb (30.07 in) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles and the dew point is 51°F (10°C).  Yesterday’s high was 80°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 51°F (10°C).  Averages for this date are 66°F / 46°F.  Sunrise was at 6:11 AM and sunset will be at 8:55 PM.  The record high for May 16 is 90°F set in 1962, and the record low is 30°F set in 1921.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with a lows in the upper 40s.  Winds NE at 10-15 mph.

Friday Night:  Becoming mostly cloudy with lows in the low 50s.  A 50% chance of showers.  Winds E at 10-20 mph, diminishing to 5-15 mph after midnight.
